Kevin Durant is a legendary basketball player worldwide, yet behind the superstar is a close-knit family that has contributed significantly to his success. The NBA champion has three siblings: an elder brother, Tony Durant, and two younger half-siblings: the youngest sister, Brianna Pratt, and half-brothers, Rayvonne Pratt.

Although Kevin emerged as one of the most well-known players in the global athletic arena through his NBA feats, his siblings have taken a different path in life. Others were devout basketball fans, and others would rather not be in the limelight. Although Durant has led a different life, family support has played a significant role throughout his life.

Tony Durant: The older brother who inspired Kevin

Tony Durrant, three years older than Kevin, played a big role in Kevin's childhood. Tony, raised with Kevin, helped build his confidence and love of basketball.

Tony himself was also a star. He played Division I basketball at Towson University after starting his college career at Butler Community College.


Kevin publicly attributes Jobs's success to Tony, who challenged him to believe in himself. In his emotional NBA speech on his way to the MVP in 2014, Durant publicly thanked Tony for being a steady advocate of his journey. Kevin willingly rewarded his brother with a newly acquired 2007 Dodge Charger in appreciation of the assistance Tony had offered him, in the same way he had been assisted once before.

Today, Tony is a businessman and a father of two sons, Jadyn and Anthony Jr., who is known as Deuce.

Brianna and Rayvonne Pratt: The younger siblings who stay private

Kevin Durant is a father to two younger half-siblings, Brianna Pratt and Rayvonne Pratt, by his father Wayne Pratt. Brianna and Rayvonne have very secret lives and do not show up much in the open or on social media compared to Tony.

Durant, however, has talked about Rayvonne a few times in interviews. In his MVP speech, Kevin called him his little brother and told a story about how Rayvonne used to look up to him when he was a child.

The father and mother of Kevin and Tony did not interact much until the family later reunited with their father, Wanda Durant, which has strengthened their relationship with Brianna and Rayvonne. Nowadays, despite their varying levels of public exposure, the Durant brothers remain a significant part of the NBA star's personal life.
