NeeRav Arts Village introduced visitors to traditional Mudgar exercises, offering many a chance to try the practice firsthand.
Koramangala resident Srinivas Rao, 72, said he was particularly drawn to the Mudgar demonstrations. “Usually I come to this park for a morning walk, but today I found the traditional Mudgar exercise interesting. This is a good community event to unite people. The young people performing Zumba was a delight to watch,” he said.
Alert NGO conducted CPR awareness and training sessions, giving participants practical knowledge on responding to emergencies. Presenting sponsor Bhima Jewellers attracted crowds through a quiz and lucky draw.
The event also showcased local enterprise and civic engagement. Street vendors sold Coorg avocados and passion fruit, while the Reclaim Constitution group distributed copies of the Constitution’s Preamble, encouraging conversations around citizenship and shared values. The Postcrossing Welfare Society of India introduced visitors to philately and postcard exchanges, highlighting the enduring appeal of handwritten communication.
The morning concluded with a demonstration by Aryan Martial Arts, where young karate practitioners showcased their skills by breaking clay tiles with their bare hands.
