Police detained two juvenile suspects in Jayanagar 1st Block on May 20. They allegedly confessed to committing the theft along with
four accomplices, and disclosed details of the stolen property. The minors were sent to the state home the following day. Later, police arrested three others from Tilak Nagar; the fourth accomplice is said to be absconding.
Police recovered eight branded watches worth Rs 6 lakh and other stolen valuables from the accused, all five of whom are school dropouts and first-time offenders, a senior cop said.
