SIR forms distributed to over 2.7cr electors

Bhubaneswar: In just 10 days since May 30, election authorities have distributed enumeration forms to more than 2.7 crore electors across the state as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, it was stated in an official release. As of Monday, more than 75% voters have received the forms. The Election Commission said the statewide drive aims to ensure a more transparent, updated and error-free voter list. Booth-level officers (BLOs) are reaching out door-to-door to distribute and collect forms. TNN
