Amarinder for industrial revival

zirakpur: punjab congress chief amrinder singh, on monday, assured a revival of dead industrial units and setting up of new industry in the sub-division and the state, if his party is voted back to power in the state. the congress chief was addressing a massive turnout of congress supporters in the election rally organised to muster support for sheelam sohi, the congress candidate from banur assembly constituency.others who addressed the rally included the indian youth congress president randeep singh surjewala, former president of haryana congress shamsher singh surjewala, former minister venod sharma and other senior congress and cpi leaders. claiming to eliminate corruption and unemployment in the state, the finance minister continued to point his guns on chief minister parkash singh badal, and finance minister kanwaljit singh. he accused them for dividing the masses on the basis of their castes and religion. “the akalis and their alliance partners in the state just have 1984 riots issue, while they had been offering better high positions to tainted leaders and priests for their personal and political gains,'''' alleged the state congress chief. meanwhile, sheelam sohi, addressing the supporters repeated the resolution to fullfill her late husband arvinder sohi''s dreams of serving the residents of this constituency. in addition of other shortcomings, other congress leaders who addressed the rally accused badal and kanwaljit singh for blatantly using officials and official machinery during polls. “all such officers are advised to be sincere to the government than the politicians,�amarinder warned. intensifying his attack on finance minister and sad candidate kanwaljit singh, the congress chief accused him for allegedly creating differences among the residents of the constituency. he assured proper development of derabassi subdivision. indian youth congress chief randeep singh surjewala lambasted the bjp and its alliance partners in the centre and the states as well.
