Traffic advisory for Sonu Nigam's Saturday concert in Delhi; check affected routes, parking rules
NEW DELHI: The Delhi Traffic Police issued an advisory on Friday announcing traffic restrictions in parts of central and east Delhi ahead of Sonu Nigam’s concert, ‘Satrangi Re,’ at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium on March 28. The concert is scheduled from 4pm to 11pm, with peak traffic expected between 2pm and 10pm due to the movement of spectators. Traffic will be closely regulated along major stretches, including IP Marg, Vikas Marg, and Ring Road between Rajghat and IP Depot, and heavy vehicles will not be allowed from Rajghat towards IP Marg during this period.

Stadium entry will be gate-specific, with Velodrome Road serving gates 7 and 8, while spectators accessing gates 16, 18, 21, and 22 will need to use MGM Road along Ring Road. Parking near the venue will be restricted to vehicles with valid parking labels, and entry to designated parking areas will be allowed only from MGM Road.
