Smart alec flees with LCD TV, booked

GURGAON: City police have lodged an FIR of cheating and theft against a man, who fled with an LCD TV.
According to police, the manager of Kataria Trading Company lodged a complaint with the Sector 5 police station on Saturday. He said that an unidentified person had come to his showroom to purchase an LCD TV. He selected one and said he would pay for it on delivery.He introduced himself as Sethi and gave his address as house No. 20 in Sector 4.
"Our delivery boy Sonu reached the given address. There the man asked the boy to put the LCD in his car, which was parked outside the house. Sethi was written on the name plate of the house. He told Sonu to get money from the house. When Sonu entered the house, the man fled with the TV," said the complainant.
"We have lodged an FIR under Sections 420 and 379 of IPC against the person," said the investigating officer.
