
Built by the Greater Hyderabad Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) at a cost of Rs 1,422 crore, the housing colony has over 15,660 2BHK dignity housing units.

Though the project site is located in Ramachandrapuram mandal in Sangareddy district, it is just 14km away from the financial district of IT in Hyderabad, a senior official said.

The colony is spread over 144 acre with all civic amenities. The construction of this huge project began in February 2018 and was completed a few months ago.

KTR, who inspected its construction, said nowhere in the country such a huge housing project at one place had been taken up.

The 2BHK housing units will be given free of cost to the homeless poor, he said.

Officials said amenities in the housing colony were on a par with those provided in premium housing societies.

A sewerage treatment plant, power back-up for lifts, common lighting in corridors, open air gyms, playgrounds, places of worship, rainwater harvesting pits, electrical appliances, commercial complexes, parking space, underground cabling, piped water supply and underground drainage system were provided.
