MYCC drub Star Club by eight wickets in IDCA T-20 tournament

On the inaugural day of IDCA T-20 cricket tournament, three matches were played.The first match was played at Gymkhana grounds between MYCC and Star Club.

INDORE: On the inaugural day of IDCA T-20 cricket tournament, three matches were played. The first match was played at Gymkhana grounds between MYCC and Star Club.
Star Club skipper won the toss and opted to bat first. MYCC bowlers made it difficult for the opponent batsmen to stay on the wicket and were seen packing them at regular intervals. Star Club were bundled out merely for 90 runs in 18 overs.
Mazhar Khan (16) was the highest scorer.

Vikram Singh captured three wickets while Surendra Malviya took two. In reply, MYCC batsmen took only 13 overs to reach the target.
They won the match by eight wickets.
Dharmesh Patel scored brisk unbeaten 38 runs while Shivam Mishra scored 18. Suhail Hassan took both the wickets.
Indore Sports beats Yeshwant Club: In another match played at Yeshwant Club grounds, Indore Sports won the toss and opted to bat first. Batsmen made fun of Yeshwant Club bowlers and blasted them at will.
Shubham Sharma scored quick 83 runs with nine hits to the fence and four above the fence while Imran Khan scored brisk 39 runs to help pile up 203/7 in 20 overs. Sourabh Soni and Harsh Durgiya took two wickets each.

In reply, Yeshwant Club batsmen failed to read the accurate bowling of Indore Sports and could score only 118/6 in 20 overs. Soumil Ekdi scored 44 runs.
Sidharth Sharma and Umesh Dwivedi took two wickets each to help their team win the match comfortably.
Vijay Club beats Khanuja Cricket Club: In the third match played at Vijay Club grounds, Khanuja Cricket Club scored 150/4 in 20 overs. Mahendra Patidar scored 47 runs while Venkatesh Iyer made 26.
Abhishekh Patrod took two wickets. Vijay Club chased the target in 18th over after losing just three wickets. Madhav Saxena and Ankur Palanpure remained unbeaten on 46 and 45 runs respectively while guiding their team to a seven-wicket victory.
