JAMSHEDPUR: More than eight students of Ghatshila College sustained injuries when a model exploded during an exhibition on the institution campus on Monday.
Though the exact reason behind the explosion is not yet known, sources said there was technical fault in the exhibit due to which it exploded.
In-charge principal of the college, R K Chaudhary, said five of the eight injured, who were rushed to a local nursing home, were discharged after preliminary treatment.
Three students were sent to state-run MGMMCH in Jamshedpur. They are stable, he added.
