Odisha Mission Shakti team reviews Kudumbashree operations in Ernakulam

Kochi: To gain a direct understanding of operations of Kudumbashree Mission in Kerala, members of Mission Shakti from Subarnapur district in Odisha visited Kudumbashree Mission in Ernakulam.During the meeting on Saturday, various activities of Kudumbashree were presented in detail and experiences were shared.Following this, detailed presentations were made on projects like K-for-Care, Santhwana Mitra and Haritha Karma Sena. The team reviewed implementation methods, achievements and community impact of the projects in various sectors.District mission coordinator T M Rejeena explained the stages from planning to implementation of projects. Organisational structure of Kudumbashree, community-based interventions, women's empowerment activities and income-generating projects were also presented.The team also visited Edathala Nutrimix Unit and Premium Cafe in Angamaly.Authorities informed that the study visit will continue for two more days.
