KGMU doc co-moderates Cape Town session

KGMU doc co-moderates Cape Town session
Dr Durgesh K Dwivedi of King George’s Medical University’s radiodiagnosis department co-moderated a plenary session at the 2026 meeting of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) held in Cape Town. The session discussed MRI accessibility and AI-based imaging advancements in developing countries. KGMU researchers also presented studies on traumatic brain injury, prostate cancer and AI-driven MRI technologies. Dr Dwivedi said the ISMRM Indian Chapter is preparing a bid to host the society’s annual global conference in India in 2030 or 2031.
