NPGC students’ drone impresses at TechFest

Lucknow: Emerging as major attraction of TechFest 5.0 at National PG College, a special high power long endurance drone developed by BCA and BTech students of NPGC Hariom Tiwari and Atman Verma drew continuous attention from visitors. The drone demonstrated practical field application performing night-time surveillance, data monitoring and thermal detection capable of identifying objects in low visibility areas such as forests and can fly continuously for 50–55 minutes, longer than standard drones, making it suitable for real ground operations rather than lab demonstration. Hariom Tiwari said, "The drone can assist police surveillance, traffic monitoring and crowd management. Our aim was to create a system that works even in difficult visibility conditions."
