MYSORE: Society of Automotive Engineers and NIE-Eicher Centre for Automobile Technology of National Institute of Engineering will jointly host Automotive Technology Fair-2011 at the former’s Diamond Jubilee Complex on December 10 and 11.
N Sandeep, regional president (India), Gasoline Systems, BOSCH Ltd (Bangalore), will inaugurate the fair at 10.30am on the inaugural day.
The fair will address the issues of Indian auto market potential and various technologies in the automotive world.
It will also be a platform to showcase technology and vehicles by prominent auto manufacturers. Through Auto-Expo, a wide variety of vintage cars, vintage bikes and superbikes depicting the legacy and evolution of Indian auto industry will be exhibited.
At the Technology Pavilion put up by BOSCH India, the entire range of BOSCH automotive products and technologies will be showcased. Open Technology Forum will have technical sessions by industry experts. In Dealer Conference, S Sakthivelan, deputy general manager of business planning division, TKM-INDIA, Govindaraju M, senior manager of Product Testing and Homologation, Royal Enfield Motorcycles Ltd, and Pradeep Mathews, senior manager-projects, Royal Enfield Motorcycles Ltd, will speak. The conference will focus on ‘Indian automotive industry: Future outlook & challenges’.
There will also be road-safety awareness programmes organized in association with Mysore transport department and the traffic police to be held in association with traffic dept, wherein the general public will be imparted awareness on road safety.
