Infant, 30-year-old man injured in accident on Sadar flyover

Nagpur: A six-month-old girl and a 30-year-old man were injured after two cars collided head-on on the Sadar flyover on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred around 4.30pm when one vehicle attempted to overtake another.Saisha Bokde (6 months), resident of Pawani, and Akash Gajbhiye sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment at a private hospital. Saisha was with her parents and Gajhiye in a car which was moving from Koradi towards Samvidhan Chowk. As per police, another car coming from the opposite direction tried to overtake and collided with their car. One more car hit them from behind, said police.The accident disrupted traffic for some time. Sadar and traffic police reached the spot, cleared the vehicles and restored traffic flow. A case has been registered.
