Chhattisgarh CM holds chaupal in remote Lemru, announces development works
RAIPUR: Chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday reached remote Lemru village in Korba district under the ongoing Sushasan Tihar campaign, held a chaupal and heard grievances of villagers.Sai said serving people was the govt’s foremost duty and described Sushasan Tihar as a direct bridge between the govt and citizens. The campaign, which began on May 1, will continue till June 10 for speedy redressal of public complaints across the state.At the grievance redressal camp, the CM announced several development works for Lemru region, including an anicut for irrigation, a post-matric hostel, electrification in gram panchayats, school and anganwadi buildings, CC roads and culverts.He also felicitated 18 meritorious students from Korba district who scored above 90% in Class 12 board exams by distributing tablets to them.Beneficiaries were handed ration cards, farm equipment, tricycles, hearing aids, fisheries material, pumps, power sprayers, nutrition baskets and incentive cheques for self-help groups.
