Hazaribag Road Accident: Stone Truck Driver Injured in Head-On Collision with Coal Truck

Hazaribag: The driver of a stone-laden truck was injured on Tuesday when his vehicle collided head-on with a coal-laden truck at Satmil Chowk on Hazaribag-Guridih road in Bishnugarh block of the district. The coal-laden truck, bearing a Nagaland registration number, was headed towards Hazaribag when the accident took place. Its driver and helper fled the spot immediately after the incident. The collision led to chaos at the busy roundabout as traffic remained disrupted. Police personnel rescued the injured driver of the stone laden truck and admitted him to the Bishnugarh community health centre (CHC) for treatment. “A search has been initiated to trace the absconding driver, and the exact cause of the accident is being investigated,” Swapan Kumar, the officer-in-charge of Bishnugarh police station, said
