Two EVMs damaged, stray incidents of violence in AP
Polling in Andhra Pradesh began on a peaceful note with a large number of voters turning up early in the morning to exercise their franchise. Except for a few stray incidents of violence and heated arguments, there was no major law and order problem anywhere in the state. At two places – Guntur and Chittoor – EVMs were damaged in a clash between YSRCP and TDP workers. In Chitoor district Jana Sena candidate damaged an EVMs by hitting it on the ground.

Technical glitches of EVMs irks voters across north Andhra Pradesh
Voters are expressing anger over the polling staff even after one hour of commencement of voting, EVMs at many polling booths are not functioning. The serpentine lines at polling booths are visible at many polling booths. Visakhapatnam voters at around 30 polling stations are irked with the delay of the polling.
