Man caught while trying to record videos inside Durga temple women’s washroom

Vijayawada: A 20-year-old man was caught at Kanaka Durga temple while trying to record videos of women on his mobile phone inside a toilet. The accused, identified as Naresh, managed to sneak into the women's restroom located on the sixth floor of the mahamandapam. However, alert devotees quickly raised an alarm, and he was caught. Several women confronted Naresh and thrashed him before security personnel rushed to the spot and took him into custody. Women security staff immediately lodged a complaint with One Town police, who arrested the accused and shifted him to the police station for further investigation. Authorities are examining Naresh's mobile phone to determine whether any videos were recorded and if similar incidents occurred earlier. Preliminary inquiries revealed he is a resident of Chittinagar in Vijayawada.
