Vijayawada: Highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s technology-led governance model, chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday said policy reforms and transparent administration helped the state attract investments exceeding ₹23 lakh crore in the last two years.He said the govt’s business-friendly ecosystem proved vital for creating opportunities for large-scale employment and economic growth. Addressing the governing council meeting of NITI Aayog on Thursday, Naidu said AP has been leveraging the real-time governance society (RTGS), artificial intelligence-based analytics, real-time monitoring systems, and predictive governance tools such as AWARE to improve administrative efficiency. He explained that the govt has enabled data-driven decision-making and strengthened the delivery of govt services.Presenting the Swarna Andhra @2047 vision at the meeting, Naidu said the roadmap aligns with the national objective of Viksit Bharat @2047 and aims to transform AP into a prosperous, inclusive and globally competitive economy through a human capital-driven development model.Naidu said the state’s vision focuses on achieving zero poverty, generating employment opportunities, enhancing skilling, ensuring water and energy security, and accelerating growth through sectors such as agri-tech, logistics and deep-tech integration. Emphasising sustainable economic growth, he called upon states to concentrate on strengthening infrastructure and ensuring policy stability. He wanted states to expedite approvals and clearances rather than engaging in unhealthy competition through unsustainable incentive packages to attract investments.He said AP is committed to ensuring that every family has access to seven basic necessities — housing, sanitation, tap water, clean cooking fuel, electricity, digital connectivity, and direct benefit transfers — as part of its inclusive development agenda. Highlighting the P4-MBK 10-20 initiative, he said the programme encourages the top 10% of society to support the bottom 20% through philanthropy, mentorship and community participation, creating a more equitable growth model.Naidu said AP is implementing Project Sanjeevani, a digitally connected healthcare ecosystem focused on preventive healthcare, integrated digital health records, and improving access to quality medical services across the state. The chief minister said the govt is introducing reforms centred on AI-enabled learning, industry-integrated higher education, and flexible lifelong learning pathways.
