Oraon got 1,43,044 votes while Tikey got 90,167 votes.Kumargram (ST) is a Scheduled Tribe-reserved constituency in Alipurduar district of West Bengal, situated in the northernmost part of the state. In 2026, the candidates include Rajeev Tirkey of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), Manoj Kumar Oraon of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Sudham Lama of the Congress.In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Kumargram (ST) was won by Manoj Oraon of the BJP, who defeated his nearest rival from the TMC by a margin of 19,636 votes. The victory reflected the BJP's growing support among tribal voters in parts of north Bengal during that election cycle.
