In a bold move to reclaim safety and security, the Bihar Police have ramped up their efforts against organized crime, detaining more than 134,000 individuals from January to May. Additional Director General Sudhanshu Kumar emphasized that all measures taken are within legal bounds and dismissed any accusations of caste-based discrimination.

Forest officials in Ranchi arrested three men, including a BJP worker, at a city hotel with 30 dried copulatory organs of monitor lizards.
