Bengaluru devotee donates 7 jewels worth Rs 94L to Tirumala temple
TIRUPATI: A Bengaluru-based devotee, Dr M Mahadevamma, donated seven gold medallions weighing 753 grams, worth approximately Rs 94 lakh, to Lord Venkateswara at the world-renowned Tirumala temple on Friday morning.After offering prayers at the hill temple, Dr Mahadevamma and her family handed over the donation to TTD Executive Officer (EO) Muddada Ravichandra and Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary at the Ranganayakula Mandapam.Meanwhile, the Tirupati trust also received a donation of ₹20 lakh from Hyderabad-based Dr Geethika Sai and ACS Technologies towards the Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust.The donation was handed over to the TTD EO by board member Nannapaneni Sadasiva Rao in the form of demand drafts at the Ranganayakula Mandapam on Friday.
