INDORE: The total number of containment zones in Indore on Monday jumped to 47 from 36 a day ago.
Dr Anil Dongre, district in charge of contact tracing said, "Eleven new containment zones are notified following increase in number of positive cases of Covid-19. At present, there are 47 containment zones in the city."
Indore reported 120 new positive cases taking the tally to 6155 on Sunday.

Also, there are 12 new areas with positive cases of Covid-19 found in the city. The areas include Ward 11 Depalpur, Choral, Mhow, South Harsidhi, Bhagora Village, Malipura bijapur, Dhanvantari Nagar, Anand Bagheechi, Boliyan Sarkar ki Chhatri, Shanti Vihar Colony, Vidya Nagar.
Of them, 3 cases each were reported in Boliyan Sarkar ki Chhatri, and Vidya Nagar, 2 in South Harsiddhi and one each in rest of the areas.
Among the older areas with cases the maximum cases on the day were reported from Usha Fatak, Sukhliya, Somnath ki Chaal, Choti Gwaltoli, Rajmahal Colony, Sadar Bazaar, Pawan Putra Nagar, Kalyan Sampat Sangorbuti, Pratap Nagar, Jeet Nagar, Micholi Hasan, Samaj Nagar, Rangbasa, Adarsh Indira Nagar, North Toda, and Chawani. 13 cases were found in Usha Fatak, 10 in Sukhliya, 6 each in Somnath ki Chaal, and Sadar Bazaar, 5 each in Choti Gwaltoli, Rajmahal Colony, Pawan Putra Nagar, and four cases each in Pratap Nagar and Jeet Nagar. The rest of the older areas reported 3 cases each.
