Madhya Pradesh horror: Mother forces three daughters to drink pesticide in Alirajpur, all die
INDORE: Three sisters, aged seven, five and three, died after their mother allegedly forced them to consume pesticide and then attempted suicide in a tribal hamlet of Alirajpur district on Friday night.Ambua police station incharge Mohan Dawar said that the incident occurred in Mafidar Faliya of Adwada village. The woman allegedly made her daughters—Savitri, Kartika and Divya—drink pesticide before ingesting it herself. Family members rushed all four to the district hospital, where one child was declared dead on arrival. The other two girls were referred to Dahod in Gujarat after their condition worsened, but they died on the way. The mother remains critical and is undergoing treatment.Police said that the woman’s husband was in Gujarat for labour work at the time of the incident. He had been away for about one month. A case was registered, and investigators suspect a domestic dispute led to the extreme step, though officials said all angles were being examined.Dawar spoke to the grieving family and questioned relatives about the husband’s absence, possible marital discord and whether there was any recent conflict within the household. According to police, the couple married in 2016.
