A Division Rajasthan Football League: Abhit, Karan, Riyaz star as Zinc Football Academy beat Brothers United FC 3-1; Jaipur City FC, ASL post wins
Jaipur: Abhit, Karan, Riyaz scored a goal each as Zinc Football Academy drubbed Brothers United FC 3-1, while Jaipur City FC, ASL also posted easy wins in the ongoing A Division R Football League.Three matches of the R League A Division Football League, being organised under the joint aegis of Rajasthan Football Association and Poornima University, were played on Thursday.The first match was played between Brothers United Football Club and Zinc Football Academy. Zinc Football Academy won the match 3-1 in a one-sided manner. Abhit scored the first goal in the 31st minute of the match, and Karan scored the second goal in the 50th minute. Riyaz scored the final goal in the 94th minute. Raj Mukhi scored for Brothers United in the 33rd minute.The second match was played between ASL and Rehan Football Club in which the former defeated Rehan 3-1, with ASL scoring two goals (51st and 55th minutes) and Karan Mithal (78th minute). Rehan's lone goal came from Himanshu Singh (18th minute).The final match of the day was played between Sunrise Football Club and Jaipur City Football Club, in which Jaipur City won the match unilaterally by 5-0.
Goals for Jaipur City were scored by Anuj Sharma (2 minutes), Afzal (18 minutes), Ankit Sharma (44 minutes), Harsh (68 minutes) and Aditya (89 minutes).Rajasthan Football Association secretary Dilip Singh Shekhawat stated that the R-League, which began on March 20, will run for one month. A total of 42 matches will be played. Thirty matches have been played so far, and the next three will be played on April 19th.
