35-year-old woman found murdered at home

Jhansi: A 35-year-old woman who was sleeping in her home along with her four children was found murdered here on Friday morning. The incident took place in village Kurai, falling under the Todi Fatehpur Police Station limits.As per reports, the victim, Rajni Ahirwar lived with her four children and mother-in-law while her husband worked in Rohtak, Haryana.On Thursday night, as usual the entire family slept. On Friday morning, the victim, was found lying in a pool of blood, caught by her mother-in-law who immediately raised an alarm after which police were called.During investigation, it was found that the woman's throat was slit by some sharp object. The body was sent for postmortem while the team collected vital clues.SP rural, Arvind Kumar, said that initial investigation points towards possibility of extra marital affair while the police is working on all possible angles. “We have lodged a case against an unknown person under related sections of BNS. On the basis of mobile CDR data, a suspect has been rounded up who is being interrogated”.
