Small tea growers seek devpt board
Kolkata: The Confederation of Indian Small Tea Growers' Associations (CISTA) has written to CM Suvendu Adhikari, urging him to set up a small tea growers' development board. It has suggested that the board should have representatives from Tea Board, department of industry, commerce & enterprises, district administrations, and small tea growers. It has also requested the CM to recognise small tea growers as farmers and include them in all relevant central farm schemes.
