2-day NIPUN training starts from June 1
Lucknow: Making the NIPUN Bharat Mission more effective at the grassroot level, the department of basic education is set to hold a special training programme for district coordinators on June 1-2.Officials said the training is aimed at strengthening the effective implementation, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms related to the NIPUN Bharat Mission and quality education enhancement activities.Instructions have been issued to all basic education officers to ensure district coordinators attend the training programme scheduled at the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Lucknow.The training will be organised in two batches, the first on June 1 that will include participants from districts in Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Basti, Devipatan, Gorakhpur, and Chitrakoot divisions and the second on June 2 where participation from district coordinators from Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, and Varanasi divisions will be seen.The training, said departmental officials, will equip district coordinators with knowledge and skills related to academic and administrative monitoring, data-based planning and decision-making, effective review processes, teacher support systems, and the procedures and systems necessary for improving student learning outcomes (SLOs).NIPUN Bharat Mission is not merely an educational programme, but a comprehensive campaign aimed at strengthening children’s foundational learning abilities, said a govt spokesperson.
