Yogi Adityanath will felicitate 223 meritorious students on June 1 for securing top positions in Class 10 and 12 examinations in the 2025-26 academic session across UP Secondary Education Board (UPSEB), UP Secondary Sanskrit Education Board (UPSSEB), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Examinations (CISCE).
According to directives issued by Secondary Education Director Mahendra Dev, the state-level function will honour the top 10 students each from Class 10 and Class 12.
Each awardee will receive Rs 1 lakh in prize money, a tablet, a medal and a certificate.
Among the 223 students, UPSEB accounts for 138 awardees, including 115 from Class 10 and 23 from Class 12.
In UPSEB, there are 138 students — 115 in Class 10 and 23 in Class 12 — who will be felicitated by the CM. A total of 21 students — 11 in Class 10 and 10 in Class 12 — will be honoured for good performance in UPSSEB. While 33 students from CISCE — 22 in Class 10 and 11 in Class 12 — and 31 from CBSE — 13 in Class 10 and 18 in Class 12 — will be felicitated.
Simultaneously, 1,459 students who secured top 10 ranks in each of the 75 districts in Class 10 and 12 from UPSEB will be felicitated at district level.
