Nagpur: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC)-run junior colleges recorded an overall pass percentage of 86.49% in the HSC examination (March 2026), with the Science stream emerging as the best performer, registering an impressive 92.46% success rate.
Among individual institutions, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Junior College led the tally with a 97.26% pass rate, achieving a perfect 100% result in the Science stream. Tajabad Urdu Junior College followed with 87.87%, while MAK Azad Urdu College posted a moderate 80.85%. Sane Guruji Urdu Junior College recorded the lowest pass percentage at 60%, largely due to its Arts stream performance.
Of the 151 students who appeared in Science, 146 passed, with the majority securing second class. Commerce saw 51 out of 58 students clearing the exam, translating to 78.43%, while the Arts stream recorded a 75% pass rate, with 35 out of 40 students passing.
In Science, Shweta Shrikant Kore topped with 76.83%, followed by Srushti Suresh Admane (70.83%). In Commerce, all top three ranks were secured by students of MAK Azad Urdu College, with Alfia Parveen leading at 68%. The Arts stream saw the highest individual score, with Huran Kausar topping at 81.17%.
