Chhattisgarh women handball team hopeful of finishing in top three in nationals

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh senior women handball team will compete in the 51st Senior Women National Handball Championship to be organised in Andhra Pradesh from November 26 to 30.
The team officials are hopeful of making it to the top three of the championship in view of the team’s preparation.
Players representing the state in the national championship are Preeti Sahu, Payal Bhatt, Hempushpa, Sonia, Lalli Dhruw, A Archana, Madhuri, Priyanka Yadav, Ankita Verma, Radhika Yadav, Disha Bose, Hemkalyani Verma, Neha Sahu, Aditi Saha, Sunidhi Mishra and Reshma Sonani.
Chhattisgarh Handball Association general secretary Sameer Khan said that the NMDC 17-member senior team of the state had undergone a rigorous training prior to its departure for the championship.
