NDA Faces Seat Shift In Rajya Sabha Polls While Vijay’s TVK Gains Major Opportunity

The Election Commission announced Rajya Sabha elections for 26 seats across 12 states. The NDA currently holds 18 of these seats but is projected to lose one after polling. Congress is expected to gain an additional seat, while Jharkhand Mukti Morcha may secure two. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay’s TVK is likely to enter the Rajya Sabha through a by-election seat. Key contests are expected in Karnataka, Gujarat, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh amid intense political calculations and alliance shifts.
