Haveri: District minister Shivanand Patil said his dreams for Haveri are better healthcare, quality education, a permanent solution to drinking water problems, and irrigation facilities, and that he is working with this vision for the district's development. He was speaking at a gratitude programmean event organised to honour officials and staff for successfully conducting the land guarantee dedication convention in the district on Friday night. Patil said he is making efforts to provide lasting solutions to key issues in Haveri and stressed that the cooperation of officials is essential. He said: "The state govt has released around Rs 200 crore for the HIMS building and that the college is now functioning in its own building. The student intake will be increased from 150 to 200, and a paramedical college and trauma centre will also be established. " The minister also noted that the Jal Jeevan Mission and three multi-village water supply projects have now reached the implementation stage due to continuous review meetings and pressure.MLAs Basavaraj Shivanavar, Rudrappa Lamani, Prakash Koliwad, Yasir Khan Pathan, Srinivas Mane, DC Vijay Mahantesh Danammanavar, ZP CEO Ruchi Bindal, SP Yashodha Vantagudi, DCC president Sanjeevkumar Niralagi and others were present.
