Kozhikode: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) have filed a complaint against senior Congress leader K Sudhakaran for allegedly violating polling norms by entering a polling booth along with a supporter during voting in Kannur. According to the complaint, Sudhakaran is accused of breaching the secrecy of the ballot by allowing a supporter to accompany him inside the voting compartment. The supporter, identified as Jayanth Dinesh, has also been named in the complaint. It is also alleged that visuals of Sudhakaran inside the polling booth was recorded using a mobile phone. Complainants have demanded that the election commission take strict action and conduct a detailed probe into the matter. Meanwhile, Dinesh rejected the allegations and said that he had not recorded visuals inside the polling booth and that it was mediapersons who recorded the visuals.
