Hoax bomb threat creates panic in Tirupati
Tirupati: A hoax bomb call threat created panic among the tourists in the temple city of Tirupati on Friday. Hotel Raj Park, located close to the busy Kapilateertham circle, received a bomb threat on Friday. The hotel management immediately reached out to the Alipiri police, who rushed along with bomb disposal squads and dog squads. Alipiri police conducted extensive searches at the private hotel by screening every room at the hotel, the restaurant, kitchen, banquet halls, etc. Everyone heaved a big sigh of relief as the extensive searches concluded and proved the bomb threat call to be a hoax. Alipiri in-charge CI Rama Krishna told reporters that a case has been registered to trace the unidentified person responsible for the hoax bomb threat call, which led to unrest and a state of anxiety among the tourists.
