Killiyoor election results 2026: Congress’ Rajesh Kumar S wins by 1,311 votes

In Killiyoor, Congress candidate Rajesh Kumar S won the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election by 1,311 votes against Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam candidate Sabin S, while Nivin Simon J contested from the BJP.Killiyoor is an assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari district, falling under the Kanniyakumari Lok Sabha segment. Congress has dominated the seat since 2016, winning four consecutive assembly elections. In 2021, S Rajeshkumar retained the seat by a margin of 55,400 votes, defeating AIADMK’s Jude Dev KV, improving on his 2016 victory margin of 46,295. Prior to him, Congress’ S John Jacob won the seat in 2006 and 2011. For the 2021 elections, Killiyoor had 241,595 registered voters, with 169,164 casting their ballots, recording a turnout of 70 percent.
