DMK members booked for violating model code of conduct in Krishnagiri

KRISHNAGIRI: The Krishnagiri police on Monday registered a case against more than 30 DMK members, including Krishnagiri West DMK in-charge Aslam, for violating the election model code of conduct.

The party workers assembled at a roundabout here without permission and celebrated the announcement of D Mathiyazhagan MLA as the DMK candidate in the Bargur assembly constituency. They burst crackers and distributed sweets to the public on Sunday.
