Mariani Assembly constituency is a general (unreserved) seat located in Jorhat district of Assam. Following the 2023 delimitation exercise, the constituency continues to be part of the Jorhat Parliamentary constituency.
In the 2021 Assam Assembly elections, the constituency had 1,23,568 registered voters, with 95,838 valid votes cast.
Congress candidate Rupjyoti Kurmi won the seat with 47,308 votes. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Ramani Tanti finished second with 44,862 votes, losing by a margin of 2,446 votes.
In the 2016 Assembly elections, Mariani had 1,06,715 electors, with 90,548 valid votes recorded.
Congress candidate Rupjyoti Kurmi won the seat with 36,701 votes, defeating Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate Alok Kumar Ghosh, who secured 34,908 votes. The victory margin was 1,793 votes.
According to the final electoral roll released on February 10, 2026, the constituency has 1,64,989 registered voters, up from around 1,22,128 voters in 2021.
