Udalguri (ST) is a Scheduled Tribes reserved assembly constituency (No. 69) in Assam's Udalguri district, part of the Darrang–Udalguri Lok Sabha constituency. It covers rural areas in the Bodoland Territorial Region headquarters town, featuring diverse ethnic groups like Bodo speakers (26.9per cent of locals) and sites such as Barnodi Wildlife Sanctuary and Manas National Park fringes.
UPPL's Gobinda Chandra Basumatari won in 2021 with 61,767 votes (50.43per cent) against BPF's Rihon Daimari (56,916 votes, 46.47per cent). BPF's Rihon Daimari dominated 2016 with 45,037 votes over independent Anjali Prabha Daimari (20,663 votes).
The constituency includes one town (Udalguri) with 15,279 residents and 226 villages; 2016 data shows 133,923 electors (55,541 males, ~78,382 females), 78,236 ST voters (39,052 males, 39,184 females), and 4,085 SC voters. Turnout reached 109,659 voters in 2016.
